Monthly Specials

"Always learning" is one of our core principles at Veranda Indian. We strive to continuously try new dishes and get you a selection of our picks every month. And who knows, some might become permanent features in our menu if you love them enough!

Here are our current specials -

Bush Berry Cooler
When Uncle Claus swaps his snow boots for thongs and the sleigh for a surfboard, he reaches for Auntie Claus' favourite summer sip: the Bush Berry Cooler. This refreshing iced tea, crafted from a medley of rose hips, blackcurrants, bilberries, hibiscus, elderberries, and blackberries, is a fruity infusion as vibrant as the Aussie summer. It’s the perfect pick-me-up after a long night’s work, delivering a burst of berry goodness to keep the festive cheer flowing under the Southern Cross. One sip, and you’ll feel like you’ve joined the Claus family Christmas Down Under!

Auntie Claus’ "Magic" Potion
How does Uncle Claus pull off his epic, all-night gift-giving marathon? The secret lies in Auntie Claus’ “magic” potion. Brewed with love (and a touch of mischief), this spirited blend of litchi, forest berries, and premium Kohinoor vodka gets a fizzy lift from soda water. The real magic, though, is in its ability to spark giggles and keep spirits bright. This summer-ready elixir is Auntie Claus’ way of ensuring there’s always joy, even after the sleigh’s parked for the season. One sip, and you’ll believe in magic too!

Jhal Muri
West Bengal's beloved Jhal Muri is a popular street snack that is also found in Bihari, Bhojpuri, Odia, and Tripuri cuisines. Translated to "Spicy Puffed Rice", it's a true testament to its name.

Christmas "Plum" Cake
In India, Christmas always came with the unmistakable scent of plum cake wafting through the air. Back then, it wasn’t Santa’s sleigh bells we waited for—it was the friendly neighbour, arms laden with tins of this spiced, fruity wonder. Plum cake was the ultimate festival MVP, lasting well past New Year and sneaking into tea times and midnight snacks. At Veranda Indian, we’re bringing back those cosy, cake-filled winters with our take on this classic, packed with dried fruits, nuts, and nostalgia. It’s a slice of the season you’ll want to unwrap again and again!

Vazza (Non Alcoholic)
(Pineapple | Coconut| Homemade Spice Syrup) Named after the town of Vazhakulam in Kerala - famous for its juicy pineapples - this drink blends coconut, pineapple, and sweet spices to transport you straight to the land of coconuts.

Esker, Citrus Gose, Rouse Hill
Inspired by the citrus farms that once populated the Hills Shire, Esker Beer Co. decided to make something a little unique. Combining mandarin, orange peel, coriander and salt to a wheat heavy malt bill, with a touch of melanoidin malt for colour. This is a slightly tart, refreshing beer with a clean, light salt finish.
