At Veranda Indian, we’ve always believed food is just the beginning. What truly matters is the space we create — for connection, conversation, and community.
That’s why we are proud to host the official Sydney launch of Rising Ranis, a first-of-its-kind community created for and by South Asian girls aged 13–18, under the umbrella of Brown Boss Babes.
This High Tea is more than an afternoon out.
It’s about giving young South Asian girls a space where they feel seen, supported, and celebrated — and offering mums the opportunity to be part of that journey too.
Why this matters to us
Rising Ranis is building something deeply important: a safer, more intentional space for the next generation of South Asian women to grow into themselves with confidence, pride and community.
As a restaurant founded on the idea of home — and the power of shared tables — this mission feels closely aligned with our own. Supporting initiatives like Rising Ranis is part of how we hope to contribute beyond food.
What to expect
Hosted in a warm, welcoming Veranda setting, the afternoon will include:
A thoughtfully curated High Tea experience
High-tea style bites served with warming chai
Meaningful conversations and genuine connection
A relaxed, inclusive environment for girls and mums alike
This is a space for girls to feel comfortable being themselves — and for mums to connect, listen, and support if they choose.
